Bad pun, I know. But I haven’t actually looked into any of the reviews for spore, so I’ve not heard that it’s actually doing sorta bad in the results. I ran across this post (yes, fucking kotaku) and the consensus appears to be that it’s “ok”.
The thing is, I didn’t approach the being critical of the game from a genre perspective. Or from a casual vs hardcore factor. I just like to talk about whether I like things or don’t. But these reviews have me thinking otherwise. If I had to describe the game now, it would probably fall in line as a “Casual RTS Sci Fi game with awesome customization options”.
