Or off broadway maybe:

I’m a posting whore today, but I’ve been down with the flu so I feel justified. :P

Win or Die Trying….

What the hell? Gametrainers.com?

Welcome to Gamertrainer.com – A leading provider of console and PC gaming skills training.

We serve all levels of gamers from novices to professionals and feature tips, guides and hourly lessons provided by our highly skilled Gamertrainers.

It’s easy… Just click here and let us know how we can help or explore the site and let us… Unleash Your Game!

I’m sorry, this is the pussy way out. Buck up, spend some time focusing on what you’re doing and your gaming will improve. Having problems? Do some reading on forums and see what you’re doing wrong. Can’t get it together? Someone you know is better than you, so ask for their help.

But pay for training? Fuck that. Have we really gotten to the point where online gaming has become like Golf? Apparently we have, since we now have the “pros” coming out to make a buck.

Unleashed?

I have no fucking idea whether Tycho really loved it or hated it, but he’s posted his thoughts on Force Unleased. He only makes mention that the real Star Wars fan in the office, Gabe, will likely not finish it. That I think is the real test for the game, not the qualities and aspects with which he weighs the game in his diatribe.

I make mention of it here, due to the fact that I’m a huge fan of the universe but have continually been let down by the games produced. I think the last star wars game I tried was galaxies, and that was some 4+ years ago. I had high hopes on this one, but it would appear that Spore will eat up my time as it is.

When someone asks you if you’re a god, you say YES!

Sunday was filled with SPORE:

While the video is really just a short digest of what you can do, the gameplay is pretty fucking amazing. Game really moves at your own pace and allows you to spend time learning the tools of the trade before getting aggressive on you.

I had originally thought the game would have an initial burst of fun and then be one of those games you play for 20 minutes at a lan while you’re waiting for the next round of CS or TF2. I have to say that this misconception was blown away immediately and I find myself wanting to slip away from just about everything else and bring my race to the next level of evolution. So there’s going to be some level of replay value for me.
